Hurricane Ivan destroyed our artificial reef system and depleted our fish stock. The fish have suffered because they have lost their habitats. Much like our homes were destroyed during Hurricane Ivan only it happened to them first. We need to deploy as many artificial reefs along our immediate coast as we can to keep our fish stocks up. Without artificial reefs, the fish loose their source 

of food and also their breeding grounds. Artificial reefs provide a complete ecosystem for all marine life.  

Many local businesses will suffer from the lack of 

tourism now and in the future, lack of boat sales 

and tackle sales just to name a few.
